Valuvia service fee: free for the Informal Request Package or $45 for the Formal Appeal Package. County charges are separate. Riverside currently lists a $30 formal appeal filing fee. Los Angeles currently lists a $46 non-refundable formal appeal filing fee and a possible hardship-waiver process. San Diego currently lists no county assessment-appeal filing fee. Check the official county website for the current fee before filing.
The county’s informal assessment review is available directly from the assessor at no cost. Valuvia’s Informal Request Package is also free — an optional preparation and support package, not a county fee.

Regular assessment appeals: July 2 through November 30, 2026 (other types have different periods). Decline-in-value (informal) applications: currently listed through November 1, 2026.
